# Unreal Engine 5

We have an experimental Unreal 5 project that we are happy to share with anyone who wants to try build from it.

If you see reference to Unreal Engine 4 in this documentation, it is referring to the same project. We had originally made it for Unreal Engine 4 but have since upgraded it to Unreal Engine 5.

## Setup instructions

The zip includes markdown documentation on how to build, run, and publish the project.

Start by downloading the code repo from here: Login to reveal.

Once downloaded, make a folder in `C:/Dev` and unzip the contents so it matches the screenshot below.

Open the `Docs/SETUP_1_prerequisites.md` file in your favourite markdown viewer to get started. I am using VS code.

Now proceed to run through the setup steps to build and modify the plugins we use, then finally the project itself.
